While Chimirec Avrasya collects and handles the waste produced by production activities in the industrial sector, it also collects the waste generated by the automotive sector.

In this context, it periodically transports waste from all around Turkey with its own vehicles.

 

After signing the contract with authorized service partners, it organizes the “Temporary Landfill as specified below and provides a separate container for each type of waste.

Some types of waste generated by the Automotive Sector are given below.

Hazardous Waste:

  • 16 01 07* - Oil/Fuel Filters
  • 15 01 11* - Empty Aerosol Cans
  • 15 02 02* - Contaminated Waste
  • 15 01 10* - Contaminated Packaging
  • 16 01 14* - Antifreeze Fluids
  • 16 01 13* - Brake Fluids
  • 14 06 03* - Paint Thinner
  • 05 01 06* - Oily Sludges
  • 16 06 01* - Accumulator Waste
  • 16 02 13* - Discarded Equipment (Electronic Waste)
  • 08 03 17* - Toner Cartridge
  • 20 01 21* - Fluorescent Tubes
  • 13 02 08* - Engine and Transmission Oils

 

 

Non-Hazardous Waste:

  • 16 01 20 – Glass
  • 16 01 22 – Components not otherwise specified (headlamp, bumper, etc.)
  • 16 01 17 – Ferrous metals
  • 16 01 19 – Plastics
  • 16 01 03 – ELT (End-of-Life Tires)

After these types of waste, which are generated by service partners (except 13 02 08* and 16 01 03), are accepted by the Chimirec Avrasya facility, they are stored until recyclable types of waste are sent to the recycling department and the types of waste that cannot be recycled in the facility are sent to authorized recycling/disposal facilities.
